Magdalena Baczewska has been awarded the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Arts and Music Award from the Józef Piłsudski Institute of America. The award ceremony is by invitation only. Other awardees include Professor Andrzej Chwalba of the Jagiellonian Univeristy (Wacław Jędrzejewicz History Award) and the literary critic Wojciech Wencel (Joseph Conrad Literature Award).
