On November 27th and 28th I will have the pleasure of hosting the Columbia residency of the fabulous Cassatt String Quartet. Together we will present a series of lecture-demos for the students of Music Humanities, at the Italian Academy at Columbia University. The event is open to all Columbia ID holders. An evening concert, open to the public, will follow on Thursday. Music of L. van Beethoven, Zhou Long, and Dmitri Shostakovich. What a wonderful way to emerge from the Thanksgiving weekend.
